Our History

Rooted in the Supply Chain...

Transformers Foundation was started by Andrew Olah, CEO of Olah Inc and founder of the iconic denim industry trade show, Kingpins. On its formation, Olah brought together a group of Founders whose expertise spans the entire supply chain, from farming organisations to spinning and weaving mills, machinery companies, chemical bodies, and garment manufacturers.

Transformers Foundation champions supplier equity through intelligence, education, and advocacy. Over the past decade, we have hosted global events, published influential reports, and driven change across the denim industry and beyond.

Our vision is to educate, inform, and elevate the voices of suppliers and the denim industry at large.

Our deep-dive reports and white papers investigate issues & opportunities that often go unspoken.

We collaborate with NGOs, supplier networks and MSIs on leading research.

We partner with universities and educational institutions to host denim industry learning days.

We publish educational resources from bitesize social films to in-depth reports, seminars, and workshops.

We bring together industry stakeholders to collaborate twice a year at our live events.

Our supplier community champions suppliers voices at every opportunity.

Transformers Foundation Founders bring expertise that spans the entire supply chain – from farms and raw material suppliers to machinery companies, chemical bodies, spinning mills and garment manufacturers. Without their generation financial support, our work would not be possible.
